The Neutrinos have been at the cutting edge of music making for 20 years, bewitching crowds in Canada, USA, Berlin, Amsterdam and most of northern Europe with their ‘throbbing art-punk noise and sexy urgent energy’ (Time Out New York). ‘A Force of Nature’ said Torontowide magazine.

Their KlangHaus show deconstructed the way a rock gig works. It became a smash hit at the Edinburgh Festival before going on to sell out over 100 performances at London’s Royal Festival Hall. The Times described them as ‘A blast of aural and visual magic’ in a 5 star review.

After trialling it at Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, they took their revolutionary show, Darkroom to Glasgow’s COP26 UN Climate Conference. Designed to be seen by one person at a time. Darkroom attracted audience members that included conference delegates, artists, the curious and the mechanic working next door to the show. ‘We blew his mind, ‘ laughs Karen.

‘Breathes a lungful of fresh air into gig-going and theatre alike’ The Sunday Times (on KlangHaus)
The Neutrinos are Jon Baker bass, synths, vocals; Mark Howe vocals, guitar, samples; Jeron Gundersen drums, percussion; Karen Reilly vocals, percussion. They have been hailed as ‘total game changers’ by The Guardian and ‘truly outstanding’ by The Daily Telegraph
‘A Neutrinos show will leave you dazed, shocked, maybe scared, but certainly thrilled’ World of Gigs, USA

Their irrepressibly adventurous nature has led them to perform on boats, in complete darkness, in a former horse hospital, a bus depot, a disused small animal hospital, a former Inland Revenue Office and a vast furniture depository. They have made appearances at the Bloomsbury Festival and the Festival of Love in London, Manchester/Liverpool’s In The City music convention, North by North East, Toronto, Exit Festival in Serbia and Norfolk & Norwich Festival. They have recorded in Berlin’s legendary Funkhaus and their music has been used for underground film soundtracks and throughout the feature length Channel 4 documentary The Trials of Amanda Knox.

The band are currently releasing the quite songs from KlangHaus as an album titled Ordinary Things, referred to as, “The songs that fell down the back of the sofa, the ones we forgot about.” This will swiftly be followed by Noise Please early 2023. Hold onto your hats!
