Wet Nurse Records announces the release date of the sixth album, Last Haus on Earth, from uncompromising art-rock maverick malcontents The Neutrinos on 1 May 2026. Distribution by Shellshock on CD, download and streaming.
Much of the album reflects our growing frustration, around the perils we face from climate destabilisation – that great, indifferent system error creeping upon the biosphere – and the ongoing search for solutions. This apocalyptic creeping dread is strongly reflected throughout the lyrics, coming on like intercepted, heavily coded manifestos of concerned climatologists. “We don’t need a future that puts the soil in the hands of the worst of our kind.” From Pass it On.

The collection closes, appropriately, with ‘Heaven’. Released as a first single March 6th 2026 . Beginning as a spellbound emotional torch song, a slow, tender illumination of a single feeling, held taut and vulnerable, that simply cannot last. It builds into an angst-driven guitar workout, a sudden eruption of uncontained inner conflict, before the energy is finally spent. The track relaxes into a deeply aching hole of deafening silence. Not merely the end of the song, but the creation of a void: a profound, charged absence, which, in its urgent need to be filled, becomes the ultimate, quietest question of the album.
